Effective Immediately, due to repairs to the water distribution system, a precautionary boil water advisory, water outage and road closure expecting to last 10 – 12 hours has been issued for Today, January 15th, 2025, at 8am for the following addresses:
- Valley Road #s 59 – 100
- Mays Road
- Frenchs Road #s 1 -15
- Batten Road
- O’Connell Drive #s 195, 233, 245 & 253
- Cranes Avenue
- East Avenue #s 22 – 36
- Brook Limits
Valley Road will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of Frenchs Road to Wellington Street. The general motoring public is advised to use alternate routes.
Due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the systems, the boil water advisory is expected to remain in effect until further notice. You will be advised when the boil water advisory has been lifted.
