Linda was born in the Codroy Valley and has been a resident and educator in Corner Brook for 38 years. She graduated from Memorial University with a Primary Education degree and later went on to complete a Masters in Inclusive Education and a Masters in Literacy. Throughout the years she was active with the NLTA as a branch president and served on the NLTA board of trustees for Johnson’s Insurance. She was on the organizing committee for the National Special Olympics Winter games held in Corner Brook in 2016. Linda is currently on the board of directors with Humber Valley Community Employment Corporation supporting employment for people with intellectual disabilities. Linda is currently serving her fourth term as a Councillor, enjoys living in beautiful Corner Brook and loves working with the residents.
