Pamela Gill, 51, has called Corner Brook home for almost 30 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (English/French), MUN; Bachelor of Journalism, University of King’s College; Master of Education, MUN; and a Master’s Certificate (Project Management), York University. She is currently Manager of Communications (Research, Grad Studies and Engagement), Grenfell Campus, Memorial University, and previously held roles as Public Relations Specialist, Western Health Care Corporation; and Reporter/Editor, The Western Star. She is the Zone 5 Trustee for the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District; and Secretary for both the Greater Corner Brook Board of Trade and Theatre Newfoundland Labrador, as well as a member, Canadian Parents for French. Pamela looks forward to introducing “outside the box” thinking to council to address issues such as accessibility, increasing Corner Brook’s business and tourism profile, and modernizing city processes and policies.
