2024 Fall Leaf Collection
Fall leaf collection will take place November 4-8. During that time you can also drop off your bags between November 4-15 at the 3rd Pond Access road. 3rd Pond Access is located here (LINK).
Here’s what you need to know:
– Leaves must be in CLEAR PLASTIC BAGS ONLY. Black bags or brown paper bags will not be accepted.
– Leaves must be the ONLY thing in the bag. No branches or other debris.
– Separate the leaves from your regular garbage at the curb.
– There is no limit to the number of bags you can place at the curb.
– Do not put the bags out before 5:00 p.m. the evening before pickup, or later than 8:00 a.m. after pickup.
– Do NOT blow, sweep or rake your leaves into the street. If the street sweeper does not come by within a few days it is possible the leaves could obstruct storm sewers or other infrastructure.
– Leaves must be at the curb on the correct day.
Remember, mulching is also an excellent and environmentally friendly way to dispose of the leaves on your property! Just take the mower out for a couple of passes, and it will decompose during the winter to help your lawn health.
