The City of Corner Brook maintains an outdoor rink on Wellington Street next to the Basha softball pitch (across from C.C. Laughlin Elementary School_). The rink will be accessible from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. daily.
The following rules and regulations will be in place:
- Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
- Children are required to wear a certified helmet.
- Only 20 people are allowed on the rink at a time.
- Participants must stay 2 metres (6ft) apart outside of their bubble.
- Spectators must stay 2 metres (6ft) apart outside of their bubble.
The space is not monitored regularly so users skate at their own risk. Helmets are recommended for adults. If there are any issues with the infrastructure or ice surface please call 637-1666. Please follow Provincial COVID-19 guidelines at all times and if you are symptomatic, or have been instructed to self-isolate, stay home!
