The Corner Brook KinsmenClub Santa Claus Parade is coming up next week on Saturday, December 2nd. Here is what you need to know:
Corporal Pinksen Memorial Drive will be reduced to one lane from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. while the floats prepare and line up. The parade will begin at 5:00 p.m. It will then proceed counter-clockwise along the route: down Corporal Pinksen Memorial Drive, University Drive, O’Connell Drive, West Valley Road, West Street, Main Street, Herald Avenue, Broadway, and back up Mount Bernard Avenue to finish.
Roads will close and reopen along with the parade’s progress throughout the City. Please proceed with caution during this time. Wherever possible, residents and visitors should share a ride or walk to the parade to mitigate congestion.
